Our Temagami Vacation in Northern Ontario We had a great vacation in Temagami Ontario at Ridgewood Cottages. The swimming was good nice camp fire. Ben We enjoyed our vacation in Temagami Northern Ontario, Canada. our housekeeping cottage rentals on the lakeside were clean and well equipped. The fishing and canoeing was very good also, we know our next family vacation is in Temagami. Hello Temagami Just wanted to say great sunsets from the porch of our cottage and great beach. Warm comfortable family atmosphere. Clean cottage and well equipped. loved the houseboat my Dad rented at Lakeland Houseboat rentals. I think I will change with my Dad next summer he can have the cottage rental and I am going for the houseboat rental at Lakeland in Temagami. David & Cathy We had a wonderful time this past summer. Ridgewood Cottages was everything we expected and more. They helped make the weekend that much better. Thanks again for all the hospitality. Camping around Lake Temagami was fun we stayed at the park before coming to Ridgewood Cottages we gad a great vacation this summer. Later Bill Bob Murray We had a great time on the beach swimming and playing on the waterslide and diving off the diving board. We had all of our Children & Grandchildren, along with my Mom and Dad, stay with us and we all had a great time. We never felt overcrowded with 9 people in the cottage. It was very spacious and well supplied with all the thing you need to spend a Temagami vacation at Ridgewood. We would do it again next summer Temagami is a place I would like to live may happen someday. You have a very resort. Thanks Murray Our two families have vacationed together for 3 years in a row and Ridgewood Cottages has been by far the best. Lookout mountain was great. I just wanted to thank you very much for everything you did for us on our summer vacation. We had an absolutely great time in Temagami. We all enjoyed the boat ride on Lake Temagami. After staying many places over the years, we've both come to the conclusion that your housekeeping cottages are the best we've ever stayed at. (June 11-17th - too short!) Everything about your cottage was delightful, the rooms, location, but most of all your kindness and hospitality. It was so refreshing to be made to feel welcome! (like old friends meeting again.) the vacation and the hospitality. See ya soon! Wow! Lovely cottage, Temagami is a great location for the "better" side of the lake. This place was highly recommended - and we were not disappointed!! After 11 years of marriage we needed a nice getaway ....this place will now be called our "marriage mender"!! so I guess we'll be back to Temagami often.... We were looking for a place to rest, couldn't have asked for anything more. The pines of Temagami are tall. Very nice cottage rentals. After we left Ridgewood Cottages we went to Lakeland in Temagami and rented a houseboat and did some Canadian fishing on Lake Temagami it was out of this world. Colin and Dot The cottage resort was a great experience that I will never forget the fun times we had in Temagami. Most of all the firepit. Wendy I really enjoyed the cottage and lookout mountain on Angus Lake I had lots of fun driving off the raft. Temagami is a great place for a vacation getaway. Norm & Barb We hiked Temagami's backcountry for 3 days and had a good time. We sure loved to get back to Ridgewood Cottages to a hot shower and sit in front of the firepit. This has been an awesome getaway! The ambiance and special touches really made our stay an enjoyable experience. Loved the paddleboat and Kayaki! Some campers came to our site and stayed the night they started off at Temagami Canoe Outfitter. We sat around the campfire and talked about the Temagami and area for hours we had a great time. Thanks again Less and Jess Thanks for all your help planning our canoe trip and looking after my Mom and Dad until we got back to Ridgewood Cottages. We picked a canoe route from Temagami Wilderness Center's list of routes, and away we went for 3 days it was the best, we came across many canoeists on our travel. We visited other local outfitters and talked to some guides who showed us some other canoe routes to travel. We had a great time. Mom and Dad said they had a good time staying at Ridgewood. The cottage was spotless and spacious, with a great view of the lake from the screened in porch. Nice diving raft and a wonderful swimming area. What a Temagami vacation experience we had at Ridgewood Cottages. We enjoyed the trip to Lady Evelyn Smoothwater Wilderness Park. The climb up Temagami tower was very nice. It was a nice drive down Wilson lake road Bill put his canoe into the lake and hooked onto a walleye with in 5 min. We met the people at Wilson Lake Cottages they were very nice they show us some nice fishing pic. Thank you for your warm welcome and all the attention. We had a good 2 day stay at the Temagami provincial park before going back to Ridgewood. We stayed with some other campers that were canoeing for the past week and heading down to Marten River they were telling us about all the wild life they seen. Randy What I liked best about our vacation at the cottage resort was the boat ride on lake Temagami the shore lunch and riding on the paddle boat and Kayaki. We enjoyed the boat ride on Rabbit Lake and seen a moose in a small lake on the way back. You can count on me returning to Temagami for our summer vacation next year. We rented a boat on Lake Temagami and got our fill of fishing this year. I would like to try the houseboat rentals like you were saying. We spent a day at the Temagami Island Old Growth Trail on the center of Lake Temagami and on the way back to Ridgewood Cottages we seen a moose on the Lake Temagami Access Road. We also seen the larger redheaded woodpecker on Temagami Island. It is so good to see all the wildlife in northern Ontario. Thanks again for a very nice Temagami vacation.
